Information for Exhibitors
FIFe International Cat Show Ljubljana, Slovenia
11th and 12th of May 2024
Dear exhibitors!
We are pleased that you are considering to take part in our cat show held on 11th and 12th of May 2024 at Tivoli hall Ljubljana (ice hockey arena). Below you will find some useful information regarding the show.
ENTRANCE
The exhibition will take place in the ice hockey arena at Tivoli hall in the Tivoli city park. The entrance for the exhibitors will be through the service entrance at the bottom of the hall, as you can see on the picture below.
PARKING
Parking is possible at the official parking area Tivoli II (see below). It is payable according to the price list at the site.
SHOW SCHEDULE
All cats must go through the veterinary control, which will take place on Saturday between 7:30 and 9:00 and on Sunday between 8:00 and 9:00. All cats must be vaccinated against respiratory viral diseases and panleukopenia at least 15 days before the show. All cats, traveling from EU countries to Slovenia must be vaccinated for rabies at least 21 days before the show. The period of vaccine validity is marked by an authorized veterinarian in the cats' passport or vaccination certificate. All cats from non-EU countries to Slovenia must have appropriate documents that conform to EU Regulation No 576/2013. White cats must have a veterinary certificate for a hearing test. Upon registration, cats will be identified via microchip.
Class changes are only possible before 10:00.
The show will end at 19:00 on Saturday and at 18:00 on Sunday. During the show, the cats' cages must be suitably furnished and decorated with water, food, and litter tray available at the cats' disposal. Advertising of companies that are not official sponsors of the show is forbidden in the whole show area. If the aforementioned and veterinary conditions will not be respected, exhibitors may be asked to leave the show venue.
All participating cats must be present during the whole duration of the show on the day they are competing; otherwise, the organiser may withhold the certificate.
SHOW PROGRAMME
Programme Saturday:
7:30-9:00 – Veterinary control
10:00 – Start of the show and the judging
15:00 – Announcement of the winner cats by public's vote
16:30 – Best in Show
19:00 – End of show day one
Programe Sunday:
8:00-9:00 – Veterinary control
10:00 – Start of the show and the judging
15:00 – Announcement of the winner cats by public’s vote
16:00 – Best in Show
18:00 – End of show
Exhibitors are invited to have a look at the offer of numerous stands participating at the exhibition.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Each exhibitor gets two wrist bands allowing entrance to the exhibition area.
Other animals (dogs, cats from visitors) will not be permitted to enter the show venue.
Exhibitors will be asked to present their cats to the judges except during the Best in Show panel. Exhibitors are kindly requested to follow the course of the show and bring their cats to the judge and if nominated to the cage for the Best in Show in a timely manner.
Please keep the safety distance in the sectors. There will be 2-4 tables available for grooming per sector. Please be mindful to other exhibitors when using them
We advise you to bring your own chairs if possible.
